Loco4LosChe Prediction League Rules
1) Anyone is allowed to join. All you have to do is email me (go to "Email" on the left) that you want to participate, and pay the entry fee, which will be €10 (instructions on payment will be sent to you via email).
2) Whenever there is a match, the prediction for that match must be received by kick-off time. So, if the match starts at 21:00 CET, and I receive your prediction at 21:01 CET, then it won't count. NO EXCEPTIONS!
3) The two things you will have to predict every match are the final score and a goalscorer.
If you predict the correct final score, you will receive three points. If you predict the correct outcome (example: You predict Valencia will beat Barcelona 3-1, and Valencia beats Barcelona 1-0, the score isn't correct, but the outcome is) you will receive one point. If you predict a correct goalscorer (the player can come from either team) you will receive one point (own goals don't count).
4) In the event of any ties at the end of the season, predetermined tie breakers will be used. In the event that these tie breakers don't resolve the issue, a simple coin flip will be used (tie breakers will be sent to you via email).
Let me make this perfectly clear, ALL money received will be spent
on prizes and shipping costs. This means, the more people that enter,
the more/better prizes will be on offer. The winner will receive a free
2011/2012 Valencia CF jersey of his/her choice. Depending on how many
people enter, there will be prizes for people who finish second and
third, and possibly fourth and fifth, we'll just have to wait and see.
Standings for the Prediction League will be updated weekly. Last updated 6 December after the Chelsea match. If you think I made a mistake with your score, please email me.
